An Introduction from our Founder

A Message from the late Professor Hailey Krugen, principal founder and leader of The Coinlander Research Center.

Greetings, esteemed colleague! It is my distinct honor to welcome you aboard Sanctuary-2 to join our ranks as the newest member of The Coinlander Research Center.

Whether you join us today as a scientist, researcher, custodial staff, financial donor, or even a test subject, your role helps us fulfill the grand purpose and mission of our collaboration: to unravel the mysteries of The One Coin.

When I look back upon that fateful moment when I first detected the unprecedented electromagnetic anomaly coming from the frozen continent of Antarctica in 1987 on my remote electro-spectomoter, I had no idea that I had inadvertently stumbled upon the most important scientific discovery of modern times. It was only through hard work, determination, and of course the funding provided to me by the AEGIS Corporation, that I was able to track down the source of the phenomenon to that remote ice shelf.

The journey was not without loss, and I remember the faces of the original Coinlander team every day, God rest their souls. It is their sacrifice, and the sacrifice of countless others who have died in the name of science, that have brought us to where we are today.

As you are probably aware, Sanctuary-1 was destroyed when [REDACTED]. I can assure you that the AEGIS Board of Directors have taken great steps with the creation and construction of Sanctuary-2, and there is no need to worry about any sort of [REDACTED] on while aboard Sanctuary-2.

You will hear many different hypotheses about what exactly the Coinlander does. Different rumors and stories. That the artifact is alien in nature. That it is not of this world. That those who have touched the Coinlander have visions of another world. Let me assure you, dear colleague, that such matters are [REDACTED], and that The Coinlander is in truth [REDACTED]*. Can you imagine such possibility?

So please, enjoy your time aboard our station. Maintain a tidy workstation and open mind. Safety protocols are in place to prevent direct handling of the Coinlander Artifact. We greatly value your input, and look forward to your contribution towards advancing our knowledge of The Coinlander and the possibilities it contains.

Sincerely,

Dr. Hailey Krugen, PhD.
